About me and my practice
I provide counselling for people experiencing Loss or Change. This might be through bereavement, relationships, mental or physical health, work, life transitions or life in general.
I work Systemically, drawing upon solution focused brief therapy, mindfulness, neuro linguistic programming (NLP) techniques and creative interventions in a way that can help you to explore what brings you to counselling, to connect with you and help you to grow in confidence.
As a Systemic Counsellor we can explore the relationship you have with yourself, people around you and the system you're within (eg family, work, the world)
You don't need to be able to draw to engage creatively. You can choose whether you would like to work creatively or not.
Experience
I have experience of working with clients with a wide range of difficulties that affect their lives. These include low mood, OCD, loss, change, bereavement, self harm, relationship issues, anxiety, autism, neurodiversity, self esteem, confidence, stress, mental health and work issues.
Outside my counselling work, I have experience in working for a mental health charity, supporting people with mental health, autism or a learning disability.
